Integrations
Xero and QuickBooks connect directly. Anything else is built for you as part of setup, not sold as an extra.
Automation projects usually fail at the join. The software supports your ledger but not the system that raises your invoices, or it supports both but not the way your chart of accounts is actually organised, and the gap is filled by a person with a spreadsheet who was supposed to have been freed up.
SyncWise is built to be ledger-agnostic. Where a system connects, it connects. Where it does not, the connection is built during onboarding and included in the setup fee.
Connects directly today
Xero and QuickBooks connect over OAuth — you authorise SyncWise from inside your own accounting software, and you can revoke it from your side at any time without contacting us. SyncWise never sees, stores or asks for your accounting password.
Posting routes off whichever ledger the account is configured for. There is no silent default: the chart of accounts and tax codes SyncWise validates against are read from the system you actually use.
Built for you during onboarding
NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, and bespoke or legacy systems are built as part of setup. So are sales and job systems with no public API — where the only way in is a screen or a scheduled export, that is what gets built.
This is included in the setup fee rather than quoted as a separate development project. Setup is £200, £750 or £2,000 depending on the plan, and covers integrations, rules configuration, data migration and testing.
Documents in, from wherever they are
On the intake side, documents reach SyncWise four ways: forwarded by email, uploaded, synced from a watched folder in cloud storage, or pulled from your order or job system. Most businesses use more than one, because most businesses receive documents in more than one way.
Your rules, not ours
SyncWise codes against your chart of accounts and follows the treatment you have already used. Validation rules are configured to how your business actually works during setup. Nothing requires you to reorganise your ledger to suit the software.
Questions people ask about this
Does SyncWise work with Xero?
Yes. Xero connects directly over OAuth, and supplier bills post to Xero as drafts a person approves.
Does SyncWise work with QuickBooks?
Yes. QuickBooks connects directly over OAuth, on the same basis as Xero.
What if we use something else?
NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage and bespoke or legacy systems are built for you during onboarding and included in the setup fee.
Do you need our accounting password?
No. Connections are authorised by you from inside your own accounting software over OAuth. SyncWise never sees or stores a password, and you can revoke access from your side at any time.
